Toyota Camry Hybrid in Top 15 for Least Expensive Hybrid to Insure
Most consumers are looking to save when purchasing a par just about anyway they can. With gas prices continuing their upward march, many consumers are looking at models like the Toyota Camry Hybrid for increased fuel efficiency. What you may not know is that it is also one of the cheaper hybrid models to insure as well.
Generally speaking, hybrid vehicles like the Toyota Camry Hybrid are more expensive to insure than their traditional gasoline counterparts. There are a few notable exceptions such as the Toyota Sequoia and GMC Sierra Pickup hybrids, however.
Overall, the Toyota Camry Hybrid model landed in the top 15 in the rankings, with the Mazda Tribute being the cheapest. That clocked in at $1,517 a year to insure. The gasoline versionj of the camry was slightly less at $1,276. Interestingly, the popular Ford Fusion scored last on the list, comning in at $1,564.
